The Black Plague was a terrible plague that spread through much of Europe during the days of feudalism. This plague came from Europe. It spread when fleas with the disease gave the disease to the rats of Europe just by biting them. Of course, when and if the rats were to bit the people, they got the disease as well. Also, the disease was spread because some of the different places in Europe would throw the corpses of those with the disease into other places. The average lifespan of people in the times of feudalism varied based on their gender. A man's lifespan was around the age of thirty-one. However, the average lifespan of a women in feudal times varied even more. A woman's lifespan was based on when she had a child. If the women were to get pregnant, she usually died in labor. Very few women survived this.
